Trillions of animals are killed every year to produce meat for eating. These animals are artificially given birth, kept in miserable condition so that they can become food for a particular meal. They have to suffer all their lives for a moment of fleeting taste enjoyed by humans.
Eating animals is a part of the natural food chain in the jungles. But in all kinds of human settlements today we forcibly grow more & more animals to eat them, this is not the natural food chain. Humans have immensely developed brain, we have compassion and love that wild animals do not have. If animals eat other animals, that does not justify humans eating animals because humans have a moral agency.
