Описание: Dairy has had a fall from grace. When we were kids, milk was promoted as the ultimate health food. Countless campaigns encouraged people to drink more milk and dairy had a prominent position on Canada's food guide. More recently, however, there have been increasing concerns about the healthfulness of dairy. This has been amplified through: increased calls for reducing meat consumption and animal agriculture as a whole, promotion of plant-based alternatives, increased knowledge of lactose intolerance and milk allergy, concerns about saturated fats, concerns about hormones, removal of dairy from national food guides, as well as promotion of paleo and other similar diets. Online influencers also encourage dairy-free lifestyles and often make claims about the dangers of consuming dairy, such as cancer, bloating, weight gain, and so on.

So where does the truth lie? Is dairy a health hero or villain? And how can we have a nutritionally adequate diet without dairy? Watch the video to find out!
