SCENE BRIEF: Dr. Esha is accused of being a sexual predator by some anonymous emails, the news has gotten out and now people have started commenting mean things about her on the hospital's official social media pages. Dr. Logan being a senior doctor is trying to comfort her in this situation.

SCENE

INT. BASEMENT PARKING. NIGHT.

Esha moves towards her car when someone calls out to her from behind.

LOGAN
Dr Gurnani.

Esha turns around and finds DR LOGAN walking a step behind her. He is a fine looking man of about sixty-five, with a face that time hasn’t eaten into. The way Esha smiles, it’s clear that they share a good rapport.

LOGAN
(hesitates)
I’m sorry about all this.

Esha is taken aback. The smile wiped clean from her face. The complaints after all so far are mailed to the hospital and not public information.

ESHA
About all this?

LOGAN
I read those comments on social media...

Esha has no idea about it. She hurries into her car.

INT. ESHA’S PARKED CAR. NIGHT.

Esha reads the comment below her post.

CUT TO: The last line - ‘...I believe in justice, in fairness and in a power above us. I hope a sexual predator like Dr Gurnani pays for her sins.’ Below this, there are more comments, some
dismissing the story, some condemning it.

Esha’s heart is pounding and her breath becomes short. There is a light knock on her window. She rolls her window down.

Logan can see the anguish on her face, he can see the hand that holds the phone is shaking.

LOGAN
Everyone with a phone feels they are empowered with a voice...don’t let it affect you... And you know what they say about good surgeons...

Esha knows.

ESHA
Their hands never shake.

They look at each other for a second. Support offered. Support accepted.
