Know your weaknesses early, not later. Often, weaknesses are exposed to embarrass us, overthrow us, or remove us from positions—but God uses them differently. He uses our weaknesses to draw us closer to Him. When a weakness pushes you toward God, it becomes a blessing, not a curse.
Under pressure and tension, tempting thoughts arise—drink, smoke, steal, fight, seek revenge. But when those thoughts come and instead you fall to your knees and say, “Lord, I don’t want this,” that weakness turns into strength. What once could have destroyed you now draws you closer to God.
