Nothing defiles the land or real estate like the shedding of blood, or witchcraft. The curious case of the killing of Abel in Genesis 4, brought this powerful truth to the forefront, when God confronted Cain and told him that the earth had become an adversarial witness against him for forcing her to drink innocent blood: “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth.”
This passage tells us that when land, or a piece of real estate, is defiled by the shedding of blood, witchcraft or by sacrificing to idols, the earth refuses to give humans its best possible yield. I advise that before you purchase any piece of land or real estate, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the iniquities attached to the land or piece of real estate. Lands, like humans, have history, and some of that history may give Satan legal rights to attack the life or finances of any potential new owner who fails to discern and cleanse the land of its iniquity. Just to make sure, pick up some dirt from the land and use the cleansing prayer below to redeem the land.
