Today we’ll be drawing a Lavender flower. This painting will be easy to follow for beginners because the steps are simple.
Here’s how I’ll start. I’ll treat the Lavender flower as a whole. If I try to draw each individual bud, the painting may end up looking uninteresting. So today, I’ll work with the concentration of the paint to avoid this issue.
I’ll use a light purple as the base coat and then layer a darker purple before the first coat dries to give it depth. For any other parts that I would like to bring out, I’ll use other darker colors with the same technique.
