Prawn Fried Rice Recipe
Ingredients:
250g prawns, cleaned and deveined
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tbsp chili sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
3 cups cooked rice
2 tbsp chopped spring onions
Method:
Marinate the Prawns: In a bowl, combine prawns, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Cook the Prawns: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add the marinated prawns, and cook until they turn pink and are fully cooked. Set aside.
Prepare the Vegetables: In another pan, heat the remaining oil. Add chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add sliced bell pepper and chopped cabbage, and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add Sauces and Seasoning: Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, ketchup, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all flavors.
Combine Everything: Add the cooked prawns and rice to the pan. Mix thoroughly to ensure the rice is evenly coated with the sauce.
