Today for Messy Mindset Monday I’m creating a whimsical mixed media art journaling spread inspired by the artwork of Szilivi. Her beautiful girl illustration sparked the idea for my own ladybug girl, which led to a fun nature-themed journal spread.

I love letting inspiration guide my pages, and this one came together using some of my favorite art supplies.
In this spread I used:
• Gelatos for vibrant color and blending
• Tombow markers for detail and shading
• Collage images from Canva Pro
• A hand-drawn whimsical ladybug girl illustration of my own.

Mixed media journaling is such a freeing way to create. You don’t have to be perfect—just let your creativity flow and enjoy the process.
