Dr. Robert Floyd, Executive Secretary of the CTBTO, briefs the United Nations Security Council in the ministerial meeting on Nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, convened by the current UNSC President, Japan. The CTBTO Head joined the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres and Programme Director Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non‑Proliferation, Gaukhar Mukhatzhanova, in addressing the Member States on the urgent need to strengthen nuclear non-proliferation instruments, including the #CTBT. The session was chaired by Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa.
