Journey on Bus Route 204 (WDE2921 | LV24 VPK)

Описание: In this video, I ride the 204 on a VisionZero spec Electroliner. Fleet #: WDE2921, Plate: LV24 VPK.

204 is a solid route in my opinion, running between Edgware Station and Sudbury Town Station. The route previously used Enviro400s from 2009 and 2012, and had used some 2006/7 plate ones before those, so its interesting seeing the route use Wrightbus's tech now.

The Electroliners do suit the route, I must say. It's one of those routes where you better get used to the allocation, as the route sees little to no hybrid strays now. Just Electroliners. During this ride, it came to my attention that Electroliners lack any sort of rear window, which is a shame. It's very useful for when you have a connection to a bus that's right behind yours, and you want to see how far behind it is, not to mention it also makes you feel less "trapped in", which is part of what the massive windows with thinner borders on electric buses achieve. Oh well.

Metroline doesn't have my favourite spec of Electroliner, though. There isn't anything wrong with them, but I think I prefer other interiors.

The section shown in the video is the stretch of route between Colindale and Wembley Central, and I think it's fair to say that that is about half the route. It has some nice sections, most notably around Roe Green Park, which is featured in the video.
