*LAST DAY/Soon to pass to GAL + Mute* Journey on Bus Route B15 (ENX010 | LJ12 BYT)

Описание: In this video, I take a ride on the B15 between Eltham Road / Westbourne Avenue and Bexleyheath Station, on an Enviro200 from 2012, previously allocated to the SL5. Though, the B15 runs between Horn Park and Bexleyheath, Town Centre, allocated Enviro200s from 2009. It also uses one voith E200 from 2011 - not sure which garage that came from, though.

Tomorrow, this route will be passing over to Go-Ahead London, and will be operated out of Bexleyheath (BX) garage, and while it awaits its shiny new electrics, it will use temporary E200s, likely some of the recently transferred YY14s from SW, amongst other buses in the garage.

I didn't actually ride a GN09 funnily enough, despite those being the route's primary allocation, and the vehicles that will definitely get withdrawn after today. While I think I should've made that a higher priority, I don't feel bad for not doing so at the same time. Those buses aren't really nostalgic for me or anything anyway, and many other enthusiasts would have documented journeys on it already (not using that as a complete justification for me not filming/riding one, though).

In my opinion, the only section of the B15 worth a mention is the Falconwood, right before the bus joins Welling Way heading to Bexleyheath. That section has some nice greenery and all, but the rest, just bog standard really. The buses (the GN09s that is) are really the only thing that avoids this route being forgettable. I can actually see them becoming more forgettable with GAL, as now GAL will operate all B- routes bar the B14, which they aren't getting anytime soon.

I may go back for it tomorrow to catch a GN09. That's highly unlikely, though. For now, enjoy the footage I filmed here.
