Sweep netting is a method used in ecological research and pest monitoring to collect insects and other small organisms from vegetation. It involves sweeping a fine-mesh net, typically with a sturdy frame, back and forth through vegetation like grasses, shrubs, or low tree branches to capture organisms that are resting on or moving through the plants.
