In this video, Barbara from the Pembroke College team, introduces 'pooters'.
A pooter (also called an aspirator) is a small hand-held device used by scientists and researchers to safely collect tiny insects and other small invertebrates. Pooters are commonly used in entomology (the study of insects) because they allow precise and gentle collection of very small organisms without harming them, which is useful for both identification and study purposes.
