Four Winns Horizon 200 Part 13 - Phoenix is Her Name and More Demo - Gimble and Engine Mount Removal

Описание: Power washed it, named it and tore more of its guts out! Phoenix is Her name! Mongo is home from work today to go to the Avella varsity Baseball Game and hits the garage before leaving. After putting some stuff away and cleaning up a little Mongo empties all the tools and garbage out of Phoenix to take her outside and power wash her insides out. After about 45 minutes of washing and draining the bilge out Mongo moves her over to the hill side so the excess water can drain out and allows Phoenix to lay out in the sun all afternoon. When he returns home Mongo finds her all clean and dry inside. A couple more things to put away and sweep the floor down and back into the garage she goes. Mongo gets the gimbal housing off as well as the inner bulkhead and power steering actuator. After removing these components he turned his attention to the left side rear stringers and the engine mount that was completely rotten. Reaching inside of the cavity that was once all wood Mongo describes it as being hot from the decomposing wood and water in the cavity. To think that the previous owner was running this boat on these rotten motor mounts surprises me. Once Phoenix is ready for new wood we will be transporting her to GRAPE'S garage to cut all the new bulkheads and stringers for the interior.
