On 23 October 2024 EMB launched it's new marine science-policy foresight document Navigating the Future VI. During the event, Gilles Lericolais (Chair of EMB Working Group on NFVI) and Sheila Heymans presented the key messages from EMB Position Paper No. 28 'Navigating the Future VI: Placing the Ocean within the wider Earth system' during the launch event for the document. The talks were followed by responses to the document from Delilah Al Khudhairy (DG MARE), Rolf-Jan Hoeve (DG RTD) and Niall McDonough (JPI Oceans), and Q&A with attendees. The event was opened and closed by EMB Chair Fiona Grant.
