On Tuesday 21 October 2025, EMB hosted its 8th Brown Bag Lunch on the topic of potential environmental and social impacts of large-scale offshore solar deployment, including integration in offshore wind farms. This event was held in the scope of the Horizon Europe project BAMBOO.
The speakers were Dr Pedro Vinagre (WavEC, Portugal) on 'Potential natural impacts and benefits' and Dr Gerdien de Vries (TU Delft, Netherlands) on 'Potential social impacts and benefits'.
