Neo60 Core ($89) vs Cloudnine ($505) | MX2A Black | GMK | No Foam | Soundtest

Описание: Decided to see how close the neo60 core strikes to high end boards. Obviously highly unfair comparison, we are talking about a config that costs close to 6x the Neo60 Core config. Altho these were recorded back to back under same conditions the configs are not entirely the same. Close. Both have MX2A blacks lubed with 3203, but the cloudnine mx2a's are lubed on 4 sides including top of stems. The neo60 ones are bottom 2 thirds of stem only. The Neo60 is running plateless, and the cloudnine is using alu plate. both are sitting on somewhat similar mountings. neo60 being pcb gasket bean mounted, and the cloudnine on plate mounted tadpoles that sit on bottom case. You can hear the cloudnine is quite a bit cleaner sounding and more refined. The neo is a bit cloudier despite the plateless config. the neo is coming in louder slightly because i didnt lube the tops of the stem rails on that one. those switches were tuned for max volume on top out. You can hear the differences in lubing here in volume. both have exact same springs, triple stage 57.5g. Having said all this the neo60 core is damn good really. it also has ghost dragon spacebar cheat code. (it may not have needed it, i just usually solder on ghost dragon on by default when using cherry)

Can you tell the difference between excellent budget and premium? which do you prefer? Maybe some will prefer the neo60 core sound?
