Jeff Close was one of the ex-Glenhaughton ringers and cooks (1950-1965) who returned to the Amphitheatre Tin Hut with family and friends to roll out their swags one last time at their favourite Glenhaughton outstation in October 2023. Jeff penned this beautiful poem on his arrival, having noticed many changes, and just as many similarities along the way. It was a special weekend that will be remembered always by those who returned.
