People in the north of Gaza have begun leaving to try and find safety after Israel issued a 24-hour evacuation order. Israeli Defence Forces have been massing on the border, with expectations of a land offensive starting soon. The United Nations has urged Israel to withdraw the ultimatum, warning of "devastating humanitarian consequences".
The numbers of dead and injured people both in Gaza and Israel continues to grow.
