Pakistan and Afghanistan are heading in a ‘direction of large-scale intensification’

Описание: Pakistan has bombed cities in Afghanistan, including the capital Kabul, with Islamabad declaring ‘open war’ against the Taliban.

The strikes on 22 locations are the first time Pakistan has directly targeted government facilities.
It represents an escalation of tensions between the neighboring countries, following months of clashes.

Islamabad said the strikes were a response to earlier cross-border attacks by Afghan forces.
