Today you get to see me fumble my way through a coal prep plant, despite having worked in hard rock my entire career!
The T-11 Coldiron plant is owned by Revelation Energy LLC, I obtained permission to photo the plant. MSHA records indicate that it was shut down around 2016. The whole eastern coalfield has been in a world of hurt thanks to a combination of excessive regulation and low natural gas prices.
Unfortunately, I missed out on the idled drift mine located west of the prep plant, towards Pathfork, but this prep plant was awesome in its own right.
