Monkeys are creating havoc not just in villages and towns, but now inside train coaches at Peddapalli Railway Station. As soon as trains halt at the station, groups of monkeys enter compartments, snatch food from passengers, scatter bags, and create panic among travelers.
Passengers coming from distant places are reportedly shocked and frightened as monkeys climb into coaches the moment trains arrive. Locals say the monkey population is increasing rapidly, leading to crop damage, destruction of homes, and now disturbances at railway stations.
The menace is spreading across towns like Karimnagar, Vemulawada, Siddipet, Jagityal and even parts of Hyderabad. Residents are urging the government to take immediate action to control the rising monkey population.
