This performance was an encore from third year doctoral candidate DaJuan E. Brooks in fulfillment of recital requirements for the doctoral degree at the University of Michigan. More than ninety volunteer musicians performed in an ad hoc ensemble, representing The University of Michigan along with players from Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, California, New York, Washington, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Iowa, Singapore, and various other places from around the world.
