Berlin - Morning walk around Delphi Filmpalast and Theater des Westens

Описание: 7:30 am this morning I arrived at my appointment with BIS at Fasanenstraße 85 and decided to take a walk around the block which I haven't been to before.

I came across Theater des Westens, which soon will stage a musical called KU'DAMM 59. A list of concerts can also be seen on the wall. For example Lankum on 23rd September, Mighty Oaks on 15th October. Any Tindersticks fans? This is the place for you.

Across the street stands the sculpture of the fallen warrior "Der gestürzte Krieger".

Next door is Quasimodo, a jazz club. I just checked their website, the events look great. I should definitely come here for a jazz night.

At the corner of Kantstraße and Fasanenstraße stands Delphi Filmpalast. For a time I wanted to visit this arthouse cinema. And it's actually showing a movie I heard so many good reviews about; The Zone of Interest. Maybe I'll come here this weekend to watch this movie.

I loved the yellow signage of Savoy Hotel that can be seen across Delphi Filmpalast. The red curtains of its lobby and the marble on its facade created a vintage vibe. Their website says it's currently being renovated.
