This is a 75 min yin&yang yoga flow targeting the hips. We tend to store a lot of stress, tension and unprocessed emotions in the hip area. Working with hip openers can bring release, for some people this can also be in the form of tears (don´t worry if that happens; when it does you are ready to release whatever has come up).

The class is a blend of Yin&Yang. We are starting with a Yin posture, will then transition into the Yang (the active and dynamic sequence), and finish again with a sweet Yin session, where we are holding passive postures for an extended period of time.

I love the blend of Yin&Yang as they really complement each other. During the Yang part we are working on a muscular level, building up strength and working on mobility. In Yin we are working on the deeper connective tissue (fascia, tendons, ligaments), applying gentle pressure over a longer time allows these kinds of tissues to become stronger.

This practice is suitable for all levels of practitioners. Variations are given. Listen to your body, listen to your breath and make this your practice.
