Gap of Dunloe and Black Valley part 2

Описание: This is the 12th road trip video in the series, taken during the covid-19 pandemic, on the 28th of May 2021. Restrictions were partly suspended to allow for people in Ireland to travel, with no tourists from other countries yet. This meant quiet roads and towns.

If possible, please watch at the highest 4K definition (2160p), for a better quality video experience, even when you don't have a 4K screen. 1440p also gives a good picture on bigger screens while 1080p and 720p will probably be fine on smaller screens. (Some devices won't let you go higher than 1080p).

This video starts after leaving Molly’s cottage in the Black Valley. We drive through the Black Valley, make a stop at a river and continue on to the Ballaghbeama Gap. The Gap road is 16.7 km (10.37 miles) long and very narrow, but the scenery is stunning. The video ends when we reach Killorglin. (A few minutes near the end are a bit shaky. Apologies.)

08:40 – moving on.
39:30 – on the Ballaghbeama Gap road.
43:00 – ruined farmhouse.
44:00 – we’re approaching the Ballaghbeama Gap.
47:00 – arriving at the highest point in the Gap.
49:35 – oops. Thank you. Our nearest lay-by was a bit further back.
57:40 – we’re continuing on to Killorglin.
1:20:55 – driving into Killorglin and end credits.
