In the Heart of Lowertown examines the strengths and challenges of Ottawa's oldest and most complex neighbourhood. This series gives voice to key players from this community including residents, volunteers and agencies that contribute to its well-being and development.
This fourth episode describes the challenge that food insecurity can pose for Lowertown residents and the way that a bit of help can go a long way. There is hope but there is ongoing frustration.
The series was produced by the Lowertown Community Resource Centre thanks to the support of BellMedia and the expertise of videographer, Lévy Marquis.
