Bordiga created his first Vermouth when the business was founded in 1888. Still today in the middle of the wall of the historic distillery headquarters, there is written the words “Vermouth Bordiga”.
Their’s is a very long tradition of excellence that is a guarantee of quality. Even nowadays, it’s presented with its label bearing the original image, linked to the historic recipe connected to the distant colonies of East Africa, where the rare spices used to come from. The best wines of Piedmont and Italy, and the best alpine herbs foraged in the local Occitan Alps are carefully blended with exotic spices from the East to make the traditional Turin Vermouth with the “SUPERIOR QUALITY” label.
As with the most exceptional ingredients these taste outstanding on their own and lend a whole new dimension to so many cocktails - not least those incorporating their extraordinary botanical gin: Occitan Gin ...which come in liter bottles as it happens. 😊
