2026年2月に愛知県犬山市にある「大縣神社」に行きました。


尾張の國を開拓された祖神様である大縣大神をお祀りする神社です。
創始は古く、尾張本宮山頂から現在の地にお祀りされてから2026年という悠久の歴史を有しています。
古来から朝廷を始め庶民からの信仰もあつく、尾張の二宮様として親しまれ、事業繁栄・開運厄除の守護神として仰がれています。
現在の御社殿は、尾張藩主2代目徳川光友公が寛文元年(1661年)に再興された建物で、尾張造の構造様式を正確に伝え、特に御本殿は「三棟造」・「大縣造」と称され他に類をみない特殊な様式を構え、昭和56年6月5日に国の重要文化財の指定を受けました。

2026年2月15日より3月にかけ梅まつりを開催。



I'd like to introduce a place I happened to visit.
In February 2026, I visited Oagata Shrine in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture.

This shrine enshrines Oagata no Okami, the ancestral deity who pioneered the Owari region.
Its origins date back to ancient times, and it has been 2,026 years since it was enshrined at its current location from the summit of Owari Hongu.
It has a long history.
Since ancient times, it has been worshipped by the Imperial Court and common people alike, and is affectionately known as Owari's second shrine, revered as the guardian deity of business prosperity, good fortune, and protection from evil.
The current main shrine building was rebuilt in 1661 by Tokugawa Mitsutomo, the second lord of the Owari domain. It faithfully preserves the Owari-zukuri structural style. The main hall in particular boasts a unique and distinctive style known as "sanbun-zukuri" and "Oagata-zukuri," and was designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan on June 5, 1981.

The Plum Festival will be held from February 15th to March 2026.
