East Lancashire Railway Winter Diesel Gala - Trains at Summerseat 10/2/2024

Описание: A fantastic morning at Summerseat for the East Lancashire Railway's 2024 Winter Diesel Day, featuring the ELR's home fleet and plenty of thrash. This video features shots from multiple locations around the village, including Summerseat station, Summerseat viaduct, Brooksbottom tunnel and a car park alongside the track to the North of the station. Locomotives featured include Class 33 33109 'Captain Bill Smith RNR', Class 37 37109, Class 45 45108, Class 47 47765 and Class 50 50015 'Valiant', as well as DMU shuttle services operated by Class 144 Pacer unit 144009. The star of the show was 37109, which was in fine form and putting on an impressive display of thrash and clag on its northbound departure from Summerseat station. 50015 also had some nice thrash passing through the station on the first train of the day, as did 47765 on its northbound departure
