We will be walking from Brooklyn Bridge Park to Lower Manhattan via DUMBO and the Manhattan Bridge in NYC. The walk starts off at Brooklyn Bridge Park and heads into the DUMBO neighborhood. DUMBO is an acronym for Down Under The Manhattan Bridge Overpass. This historic neighborhood is filled with beautiful armories and warehouses converted to living spaces, studios, and storefronts.
We will make our way down the most popular street - Washington Street - where many people flock to get that famous picture of the Manhattan Bridge lined up with the street and in between the architecture. Once we are finished with DUMBO, we will make our way over the Manhattan Bridge and talk about the recent construction history.

We will exit in lower Manhattan and do some Bonus Walking through China Town and Little Italy. I ended up taking a wrong turn on Grand Street, so we get more walking than was planned. :)
And stay tuned towards the very end for the Pink Dog on Canal Street!
