Little Ireland's Katonah Avenue and McLean Avenue in North Bronx and South Yonkers.
We will be touring the entire neighborhood of Woodlawn Heights. The route will take us through Van Cortlandt Park East, St. Mark's Place, Martha Avenue, Katonah Avenue and McLean Avenue.
We will be on the border line between two counties, so the walk will take us through both The Bronx and Yonkers. We will tour the two main avenues where you can find Irish Pub's, Irish Meat Markets, Eateries, Coffee Shops and more. We will also tour the residential streets and take a look at some really nice homes that date back a couple hundred years. We will stop to see some churches such as St. Mark's, and St. Barnabas. Come tag along with me on a nice relaxing walk through the North Bronx and part of Yonkers. As always, thanks for taking the walk with me!
