The Central Water and Power Research Station (CWPRS) continues to lead in hydraulic and environmental research with its high-precision Testing and Calibration Facility (TCF). This state-of-the-art hub, established under the National Hydrology Project (NHP), utilizes a specialized Sensor Testing Chamber (STC) and a robotic arm to perform fully automated, human-intervention-free calibrations. By simulating diverse environmental conditions, with temperatures from +5 to 45°C and humidity up to 90% RH, CWPRS ensures that water quality sensors for pH, Conductivity, Turbidity, and Dissolved Oxygen meet rigorous NIST traceable standards.
