MB64 Roman Colosseum

Описание: Traveling through time Mario stumbles across the Roman Colosseum when it was in it’s prime! Unfortunately, it seems Bowser’s army has stumbled across it first. The Romans have sealed the Colosseum from the city and have all fled. Like the gladiators of old, Mario must fight through waves of Bowser’s minions to survive and collect stars so he can continue his journey across the ages.

The Roman Colosseum was a massive structure built by the Roman Empire in the first century of the common era. Romans of all classes and non-citizens could go to the Colosseum to view gladiatorial combat, animal hunts, plays based of off Roman mythology and battle reenactments. By diverting water from aqueducts, the arena of the Colosseum could be filled with water and contain naval battles! Props, animals and gladiators were lifted into the arena by a complex system of lifts and elevators adding even more to the spectacle!
