Silver Residence, designed by Studio Nocturne, is a 2600-square-foot retreat located in Maple Falls, United States. Nestled in a meadow at the foothills of the northern Cascade Mountains, this home seamlessly integrates with nature, drawing inspiration from English Picturesque architecture and regional wooden barns. The design balances communal and private spaces, with a traditionally detailed lodge facing the meadow and secluded bedrooms in corrugated wooden volumes overlooking the forest. Large-format windows enhance natural light and frame breathtaking views, while sustainable features such as a net-zero energy system, stack effect cooling, and locally sourced materials reinforce its eco-friendly design. This residence exemplifies a harmonious blend of aesthetics, functionality, and environmental consciousness.
