Follow the steps in this video to check the rotary hook timing and gap on your HappyJapan HCD3e-1501 embroidery machine. You should check if hook timing is off if either (1) the machine is failing to make stitches or is looping excessively and/or (2) the machine is stopping frequently with thread breaks or (3) the machine immediately snaps the needle only after a few turns when pressing START, even on a simple flat garment and hoop - if it is doing this on every needle bar you test on the machine, follow the procedure in this video to check the machine's rotary hook timing and gap.
