Follow this procedure to adjust the presser foot on HCD2 and 3 series 15-needle single-head embroidery machines. Note that you can optionally leave the presser foot height at the factory-recommended 1.5mm above the plate, or lower it to just touching the plate as an alternative. This procedure is the same for HCD2-1501 and HCD3e-1501. IMPORTANT: For the HCD3-1501 Servo, you may need to activate the BRAKE feature in maintenance mode to hold the shaft at the adjustment height (zero degrees).
