Two Days
Two Charters at Carlisle
03 & 05 Aug 25
Recorded over two days when West Coast Railways charters came to Carlisle.
On the Sunday we have The Waverley from York behind a Class 37 with a class 47 at the tail. Plus the New Measurement Train on its regular Sunday visit to Carlisle.
On the Tuesday we have the Pendle Dalesman - topped and tailed by Class 57s.
Other trains besides pass through Carlisle's Citadel Station.
Sadly no steam as West Coast's only operable locos are the pair of Ian Riley Class 5s working the Jacobite on the West Highland Extension line.
The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
