Quite a variety in this video with plenty of regular freight trains passing through Carlisle plus some one-ff or unusual workings.

DB Cargo are route learning on the Cumbrian Coast in preparation for the planned relaying in Whitehaven Tunnel.

Colas have brought a couple of Rail Head Treatment wagons to Carlisle Yard, hauled by a Class 56!

Caledonian Sleeper sent a Class 92 from Polmadie for layover at Carlisle. Its expected it is heading to Wembley with a similar northbound working due.

GBRf ran an MOD train using VGA vans - they look so weathered with carious former liveries showing through.

And a a pair of Stoneblower track machines went into High Wapping Sidings from Derby.

Then there was the Dalesman charter. Again no steam - have West Coast run out of steam locomotives?
