Описание: Between 1989 and 1992, Italy gave birth to a different kind of house music, warm, melodic, and dreamlike. This sound paid special attention to lush arrangements, soft pads, jazzy chords, and pianos that seemed to float over steady, deep grooves.

With a moderate tempo, Italian dream house created a space for contemplation rather than tension, a sound that felt more balearic than banging, more sunrise than strobe light. Inspired by the deep house of Chicago pioneers like Larry Heard (Mr. Fingers), but reimagined with a Mediterranean sensitivity. In Italy, the late ’80s saw a boom in balearic-inspired clubs and beachside parties, especially along the Adriatic coast and in the north. DJs were looking for something less aggressive than the UK’s acid house, yet deeper than the Italo disco that came before. Italian house became a bridge between the euphoric highs of the ’80s and the introspective spirit of the early ’90s.

Dusty Fingers returns with a second set for BAB, offering a hazy and heartfelt journey through the golden years of Italian dream house — spotlighting key artists like Don Carlos, Morenas, and Sueño Latino.
