Описание: Fr. Thomas Keating describes the Night of Spirit in terms of the complete healing of the “false self” (separate-self sense) and the entry into the grace of pure faith. The Night of Spirit leads to freedom from the attraction to roles and from the domination of emotions. As consciousness is restructured, ideas of God are purified and human motivation changes. The Transforming Union that emerges from the Night of Spirit enables human beings to be of service to others, to live ordinary lives aware of and out of God’s extraordinary Presence and love.

This is one video in a series of 31 hour-long talks by Thomas Keating that make up his foundational video teachings, “The Spiritual Journey with Fr.
