The HSC-85 Firehawks, based in San Diego, CA, is the Navy's only special operations support helicopter squadron, and they are also, without exception, the best helicopter squadron in the Navy.
Able to execute the mission any day or night, overland or overwater, in any weather, this video is a tribute to the men and women who make it possible.
In 2022, the Navy made the ill-fated decision to decomission the squadron. While the squadron may soon cease to exist, the legend of the men and women who worked there and had a global impact will live on forever.
