just as the earth below and the sky above, magic is ever changing. it runs deep and steadfast, it embraces and it breathes. labyrinth is magic and magic is labyrinth, and one should never forget the danger of wishes.
not every bride runs the labyrinth, but those that do never leave… at least not as they were when they first entered it.
never did the grape tasted so sweet, as sweet as a wish. as the wind rose and the forest sang, amalda could hear the soft padding of hooves in the distance.

those of fey whose blood is pure, have the ability to shapeshift ergo jareth's snow owl, riven's black stallion, etor's white stag etc
labyrinth gives as much as it takes; every king will have one male heir and when his time comes, he will be put to test by the labyrinth. the life of a child, for the life of a mother. not one bride lives long enough to see her son grow into manhood.
asherah is the queen of the lilit and faye's "grandmother", she is much older than etor (as in she was around to see etor and both his father and grandfather born and move on); more about her in later edits. perhaps she even gets her own edit, who knows lol
