Nutty, fudgy, and topped with a light mocha cream — these brownies are the perfect cozy bake. In this video, I’ll show you how to make rich brown butter brownies with a hint of coffee and an easy mocha frosting.

✨ Ingredients
Brownies
• 160 g (11 tbsp) unsalted butter
• 133 g (⅔ cup) white sugar
• 133 g (⅔ cup) brown sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 90 g (¾ cup) all-purpose flour
• 70 g (¾ cup) cocoa powder, sifted
• ½ tsp sea salt
• 1 tsp instant coffee + 1 tsp hot water (~2 g)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 90 g (½ cup) chocolate chips/chunks (optional)
Mocha Frosting
• 120 ml (½ cup) heavy cream
• 1 tsp instant coffee powder (~2 g)
• 1 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)

⏱ Method
1. Whisk eggs + sugars until slightly thick.
2. Brown butter (cook 160 g until nutty & golden, ~140 g left).
3. Whisk in cocoa powder, let cool.
4. Stir into egg mixture with vanilla + dissolved coffee.
5. Fold in flour + salt, then chocolate chips (optional).
6. Bake 8×8 in pan at 350°F (175°C) for 28–30 min.
7. Cool completely, then frost with mocha cream.

Tips
• Store frosted brownies: 1 day at room temp, or 3–4 days in fridge.
• For extra chewiness: rest overnight before frosting.
• Unfrosted brownies freeze well (up to 2 months).
