Angel is the personal sub-boss for Devil in the game. She is an unlockable playable character.

===== ABOUT ANGEL =====
Angel is the alternative 2nd costume for Devil, so technically she is the same character as him. However Angel does have four unique properties of her own, as follows:

1) She has her own portrait image on the character select screen

2) She has her own name

3) She has a different ending sequence if you beat the game using her

4) She has her own voice in gameplay

Gameplay-wise, she is the same as Devil obviously... so that basically makes her a slightly different version of Kazuya. The biggest difference is obviously the two laser moves which are unique to her. She has most of Kazuya's moves and doesn't seem to have any other unique moves (besides the lasers) of her own. Her physical build is smaller than Devil, but I do not know whether this affects her hitbox ranges or not.

===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====

---- Her Stage 8 personal boss is Heihachi; her Stage 9 boss is Jun Kazama; and her final boss is Devil.

---- In the PS1 version of the game, she has her own voices. However she does not have any attacking voices; her only voices are for "being hit" and "knocked out".

---- In the PS1 version of the game, she (and Devil) has her own BGM music theme.

---- In the PS1 version of the game, she has her own unique 'holy ringing' sounds when she performs her flying laser move.

---- In the Arcade version of the game, she is still named as Devil.

---- As mentioned earlier, she is the alternative costume of Devil.

---- In her profile, her fighting style is Mishima Style Karate. What a coincidence...

---- In the early arcade version Tekken 2 version A, Devil is an unplayable character in it. Yet when alternative methods are used to force-select him, his alternate costume is Angel. This is interesting because normally there is no instance in this version of the game where Angel would appear, making her redundant.

===== ABOUT PS1 TEKKEN 2 =====
This is one of the best fighting games on the PS1, and it is better than the arcade version due to it being graphically identical (standard-wise) and featuring tons more features, including an Arranged soundtrack. The game is based on Version B of the arcade game, with the initial difference of all the sub-bosses and bosses needing to be unlocked. If you are of the PS1/Saturn/PS2/Dreamcast/etc. eras, you'll know that unlocking characters in fighting games are part of the fun.
