Описание: ALBANY - New York's highest court has denied the final appeal for a former Albany Police officer.Robert Schunk was appealing his conviction of harassment and criminal mischief stemming from an incident back in April 2010 where police say he kicked in a locked bathroom door to get to the victim who was showering after he poured a beer over her head.He was found guilty of the charges after a four day trial and several hours of deliberation.The Halfmoon Town Court sentenced Schunk to 1 year in the Saratoga County Jail on June 12, 2012 for the conviction for criminal mischief and fifteen days in jail for the harassment conviction. The times shall run by law concurrently.Schunk is no longer a police officer.Schunk did not have to start his jail time until his appeals were concluded.
