Albany man, sentenced for murder, erupts in court

Описание: ALBANY -- Friday is court was anything but quiet, as Michael Anderson learned his fate. He made frequent outbursts to Judge Stephen Herrkick in Albany County Court Friday morning. Meanwhile, our cameras were rolling as he continued to say things we won't repeat. The judge threatened to gag him.

On February 3rd, Anderson pleaded guilty to one count of Second Degree murder, and two counts of First Degree Assault, for the stabbing death of Tonette Thomas. He recently changed attorney's, claiming he wasn't getting represented fairly.

"I've only been his attorney for a short time. It was his position that the district attorney and the public defender were working closely together and he thought that he wasn't getting a fair shot a trial," says his defense attorney, Jennifer Sober.

On November 26, 2012, Anderson stabbed Thomas repeatedly with a knife, at a home on Myrtle Ave. in Albany. He also repeatedly stabbed two other victims.
"He ain't got no feelings he ain't got no feelings at all. He didn't care about Titi."

That's what Tonette's father, Anthony Thomas said to us while he was in court Friday morning, He's still angry at how his daughter was killed.

"It's bull, his games he tries to play, he's a little boy he doesn't know how to be a man yet. So here it is...45 years and I pray to God that he don't come back out I pray he die up in there," he adds.

Anderson also repeatedly threatened members of the victim's family between November 15th and November 20th of 2012. Shaquan Oliver, a codefendant in this case, was sentenced to 15 years in State Prison back in March.
