Railfanning Coal City, Gardner, and Streator, IL 12/26/21

Описание: I figured I would go back to Coal City, IL on the BNSF Chillicothe sub which is the next town west of Joliet on the line. Unfortunately a derailment in Missouri on the BNSF Marceline sub (Also part of the Southern transcon) really made for a slow day as I was only able to get 6 trains in 5 and a half hours which was disappointing but out of the control of the railroad. A eastbound z-train had a former CREX ES44AC now owned by CN 4th out. I did see the Southbound Amtrak Texas Eagle plus a Southbound Union Pacific stack train in Gardner, IL on the UP Joliet sub before getting a meet in Streator, IL on the BNSF Chillicothe sub before heading home.
