Pasta Pie two ways: One meat based, one veggie - both bloody lovely, not sure which one I like the best!

I used my Beef Ragu as part of the filling for the first pie and a mushroom puree for the vegetarian pie. No ingredient list for the mushroom one but here is my Ragu Recipe (all very rough measurements!) and my Italian Herb Blend follows.

BEEF RAGU
1 onion, finely diced
1 celery stick, finely diced
1 large carrot, finely diced
500g (1lb) pack minced beef steak
3TBSP tomato purée
2 garlic cloves, finely grated (or lazy garlic!)
2tsp Italian herbs
150ml (½cup) red wine
500ml (1 pint) beef stock

MY ITALIAN HERB BLEND
1TBSP Dried Basil
1TBSP Dried Thyme
1TBSP Dried Rosemary
1TBSP Dried Marjoram
1TBSP Dried Parsley
2TBSP Dried Oregano
Optional extras
1tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1tsp Garlic Powder
