Traveling back in time has brought us right to Gyiyg’s lair. Make sure everyone has as much HP & PP as possible, Horns of Life/Cups of Lifenoodles, and Magic Puddings/Truffles with most going to Paula. Give Jeff the Lucky Rabbit’s Foot to start and have the Earth Pendant in your inventory for later as well as Pencil Rocket 20’s. Make sure Poo has a few Bentos of Enlightenment and a Universal Spice. Once ready, we face the final boss. Ness and friends enter a cave of organic tubes with the Devil’s Machine containing Gyiyg at the end. Porky appears and says he's been helping Gyiyg all along and claims we can't win. Gyiyg has attained so much evil power that he has become the power itself and cannot control it. After Porky’s monologue, it’s time to fight.

In the first phase, Porky and Gyiyg fight together. DO NOT ATTACK GYIYG. He has a shield that can't be removed and reflects double the damage. This means no PK Thunder, Starstorm, Rockin, or Pencil Rockets as they can hit multiple targets. Gyiyg will constantly use all PK Rockin variants starting with α and ending with Ω. Porky can charge forward, generate mysterious electric fields to paralyze us, unload barrages of missiles (severely overpowered attack), and lower our offense, defense, guts, and speed with stinky gas. Use the first two turns having Ness bash or heal and Paula using PK Shield ∑ to cancel Gyiyg’s PSYCHIC attacks. Jeff should use the Defense Shower, and Poo should use PK Speed Up Ω. Keep having Ness bash or heal and have Paula set up PSYCHIC Shield ∑ every so often or use PK Freeze Ω for damage plus solidification to Porky. She can also boost our offense with PK Offense Up Ω. Jeff should use the Bazooka on Porky and Poo should use PK Beam γ on Porky or heal party members. Once Porky’s had enough, he mocks us for thinking we are heroes and turns off the Devil's Machine to release Gyiyg.

Phase two begins with Gyiyg wildly released and Porky disappears. Gyiyg has an OBSCENE amount of HP, and his attacks are random taking different forms: PK Freeze to all party members with high chance to solidify, PK Thunder, PK Flash, and can induce nausea. Have Ness heal or occasionally bash. DO NOT USE PK ROCKIN as it will likely miss. Have Paula feed Ness Magic Puddings since her attacks don't really hurt Gyiyg, but watch out for nausea. Jeff should equip the Earth Pendant, then use Pencil Rocket 20’s and the Bazooka. Poo should try to eat a Bento with Universal Spice to restore HP & PP, then PK Starstorm Ω, PK Beam γ, or heal. Porky will reappear and say that we're no match for Gyiyg, and taunts us saying we should cry out for help. It's here that we realize even with our team fully decked out and Ness’s powers radically increased through the Earth, we cannot beat Gyiyg. So we pray to make it out alive.

In phase three, Paula should pray while Ness keeps everyone alive. Have Jeff and Poo give Ness any PP healing items if they have any. Paula’s prayers reach our family & friends we’ve met on our quest, but they also hurt Gyiyg more than our own attacks. After reaching out to Ness’s mother, Gyiyg is fatally wounded from compassion with our prayers. Paula prays once more to reach us, the player, pushing Gyiyg too far. Porky returns and says he will see us again only to escape to another era. After Porky disappears, Gyiyg is destroyed...

The souls of Ness and his friends return to their bodies in the present and make it out alive. With our journey complete everyone says their goodbyes, and we head home with our mother waiting to see us. The credits roll, and we see all the memories from our quest.

*NOTE: Poo is holding Sword of Kings which is a 1/64 item. However, its presence didn't affect the battle realistically. Jeff also has a Heavy Bazooka which is a 1/64 item, but did not use it.
